The BACK WALL is Healing Broken Circle’s new performance collective. Building on our innovative artistic productions in prison—such as our much-heralded production of Hamilton with the Kuji chorus—HBC’s new creative platform amplifies the voices and talents of people who have been most deeply impacted by mass incarceration and sheds light on problems and solutions from those who know it and have lived it. With the BACK WALL we are deepening the conversation around criminal justice through the lens of the arts while nurturing a supportive community and creating productions of artistic excellence.
